Custom trainers are art. From hand painted or airbrushed one off pairs to digitally printed pairs, there is something about them, maybe its the WOW ive never seen that before, or just the feeling you get knowing your the only wearer of these shoes. Lots of artists create custom sneakers, maybe you've had a go yourself, with a sharpie and a pair of canvas trainers perhaps. Shoes are different from any other form of apparrel. They are items of representation, worn with pride and purpose. Sneakerheads far and wide crave that illusive pair of limited editions or one of a kinds.

Of course we run are a custom footwear company, and we know what we offer is good. So I dont mind talking about others who allow you to customise shoes. From the bespoke commissioned sneaks to NikeID and Miadidas. These latter two sites are simply top class. They are the world leaders in sneakers after all. NikeID is my favourite, their software platform is a pleasure to use. We will one day invent something just as awesome.

What Mes gives you goes beyond simply changing colours. Images are a detailed expression, which I think gives our shoes a much more creative look and feel over the traditional colour only shoes. This look isn't for everyone, just like I wouldnt be caught dead in Vans or 6 inch heels (unless im in Vegas!), but the ones who's personality and style the Mes image fits, are the ones who can harness their creative power into an object, and make that object come alive.
There are lists of the 100 things you should do before you die. On that list should be, making or customising your own shoes/sneakers/trainers/kicks whatever you call them. They become part of you, you'll go out of your way to not throw them in aile with all the others, you'll wear them and feel indestructable and walk more purposfully like your living more that you've ever lived.
So grab a pen, paint or a PC, an old pair of shoes, a new white pair, or a virtual image, and draw, write, craft, colour, change the laces, write your name, take time, perfect it and create from your imagination your own style. They wont look great straight away, but with patience and persistance, they'll come together, and become something special.
