On the Big screen...Kind of!

Our very own Ellie and the Mes team ventured out into Newcastle with a projector and a laptop... We created a cinema style screen on the side of one of the biggest buildings in town, while Ellie, our in house designer from London School of Fashion created an off the cuff funky design that will become part of our new range!

We were in a little bit of a rush as were expecting the police to turn up! Which would of got us a lovely fine and court appearance! How rebelious! It was an exciting evening ;O

We must mention!

Ok Ive got to throw a shout out to the owner of these bad boys! He said to us, can you take my leather jacket I used to wear (this is one of those really long, thick black leather jackets) and red Prada T shirt, and make me some amazing shoes! We did and the result was incredible. We dont have a final picture, but if you had held these in your hands, you would of been excited as I was! More one of a kind leather jacket shoes coming soon!

Trainers of the Month!

A great design consisting of Kurt Cobain, Girls Aloud with some Mod images! A varied mix of musical tastes there but we're pretty sure the Girls Aloud picture was mainly for the eye candy!

02 Awards

Last night Matt Scott of Mes Footwork was a finalist in the 02 young Entrepreneur of the year awards. Down to 8 out of 1000 unfortunatly Matt didnt win, but did get to meet the lovely Davina Mccall who Matt described as looking 'radiant'! This time next year!

Fashion Show!

Last night we were out showcasing Mes and our new Threads to Treads range! The show was a great success and the models pulled it off with flair and attitude. Love it! We met Bad Lashes from X factor (Great Girls!) and got check out some of the locals reactions to our new innovative range!

SoleHeaven Vs Mes

Mes recently teamed up with SoleHeaven on a project where we created custom trainer designs in unique and grand scale way. Setting up a BIG shoe in the centre of the city, having a design created in a tattoo studio, and at night projecting a template of a shoe onto the side of a building, while the shoe was designed, live!
